Emotion is an experience just like the sweetness of sugar or the palpitations of fear. Emotion can be violent as in hate, anger, greed or can be soft and tender as in love, contentment and bliss.

When thinking becomes intense, emotions get triggered. An emotion is much more long lasting than a mere thought and therefore there is greater need for harnessing our emotions.
